This is a test . . .
During the March 19 drill, access to the ECSU campus will be restricted from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Please be reminded the goal of the exercise is to practice our responses as if an actual, dangerous situation was underway. As a result, evaluators will be on campus to observe the behavior of participants involved in the mock drill and possibly the employees elsewhere on campus.
The drill is underway and emergency personnel have locked the Ridley Student Complex. University on lockdown. All events are cancelled on campus.
All campus building entrances will be locked during the mock drill
• Do not leave your building during the drill or schedule deliveries/pick up (8: 30 a.m.-1 p.m.)
• Entrances/Exits from the campus will be closed during the drill (8:30 – 1 p.m.)
• Close all windows (including interior suit blinds) and lock all external doors to
office suites during the drill
• Do not stand near windows during the drill
• Please avoid walking through the halls during the drill
• Traffic to restrooms, vending machines, copiers outside the office suites
etc. should also be limited to the extent possible.
